That engine rumble during startup, music to my ears! This is why I love the A320, t'was the first plane I ever flew on, at the age of 3. Cried at first due to wanting a delicious dessert I spotted in the airport lounge before boarding, but calmed down and eventually fell in love with flying.
Great video brings back childhood memories of watching the planes take off and land at JFK and LaGuardia airport. I flew on jet blue out of JFK to Orlando Florida great flight excellent airline no complaints great service!💯🙌😎
I love jet blue used it enroute to Orlando Florida very professional crew good flight great experience kudos to Jet Blue would use them over and over again highly recommended keep up the good work!😎
I wish I could fly at least once a month, and not just little A320/737 class stuff. All I've ever gotten to fly in was regional jets, 727, 737, MD80 and one C-141 while I was in the military during the 1980's.
@Dantorp, in the future could you include the time points of spool up for takeoffs and touchdown/reverse thrust on landings? Many times I'm not really wanting to watch the whole backing/taxiing process.
Great engine sound! Wanted to watch this video to see where to choose my seat, I’m flying JetBlue to Orlando from JFK in October and I can’t wait to hear that buzz from the same seat.
Porto-Filippine Airways Full Flight (Porto-Filippine to Yogyakarta) Takeoff: Jose P. Laurel International Airport (Aeroporto Internazionale Jose P. Laurel) Landing: Adisucipto International Airport (Bandar Udara Internasional Adisucipto) RJ492 (PFJ492) Airbus A321-271NX
Hi ! Nice video ! I'm wondering when the sound starts being lower at the end, does it mean the plane reach its cruising altitude ? (cause I think the plane might need less power when its position is stabilizing vertically)
Where were you returning from that took 18 hours and are you sure it was an A320 the A320s max range is between 6 hours and 35 minutes to 7 hours and 35 minutes
Understood about the fan tips breaking the sound barrier, thus the buzz. But notice how it gets quieter as they climb, and pitch doesn't change so there is no change in power setting. Is that strictly from the air density change?
Pilot here. There are detents on the airbus. Climb, FLEX, TOGA. The plane will take off with take off thrust (Either FLEX or TOGA) and then at a certain altitude reduce the thrust to climb. There is a power decrease. However there is also a decrease in sound as air pressure decreases.
At full power and climb power settings the fan blades are travelling so fast that the tips of the fan blades are travelling at supersonic speeds. As a result each fan blade tip is breaking the sound barrier. With so many fan blades rotating at many hundreds of times per second, it creates that buzz-saw sound !! You will notice that as the pilots level-off and reduce the power setting, and air pressure decreases, the fan blade tips will slow below the speed of sound and the buzz will disappear !!
The tips of the front fan blades break the sound barrier one by one, the repeating sound of the barrier being broken is repeated, causing the distinctive buzz.
Anita Ganzalez ha! lol maybe because all models of the over hyped 737 through to the new max are boring ass loud inefficient passenger planes! Should one won't to fly a real sporty efficient plane, one should need onally chose an AIRBUS / Or EMBRAER OR anything other than a BOING!!.😆😅😂😂.
*K a r l V e n e s s* airbuses can be loud to. I've on the a320 and a321 and most of the time they are quiet but sometimes it makes a loud whistling noise. A plane is a plane you know. No matter what king of plane it is it will always be loud.

TheRublixCube how do you remember???
Airbus is safe.
Who likes it when climb thrust is set??
TOGA is the best
Nah I’m more of an idle guy myself
Or flex...
I booked a flight with jetblue on December. Watching this helps quell my anxiety in not having flown in four years. Gorgeous view.
Ruth Gonzalez I haven’t flown in 10yrs. Likely going to fly this summer. Super scared of it and haven’t even booked my ticket or anything yet
I love the pich of the A321 engines
CFM or IAE?
Moon’s gaming does it send you to sleep or Is it just me? 🤣
@@schannijaye2312 me too!
CFM56 has a lower pitched buzz than the IAE V2500
The “pich”
now THAT'S a takeoff!!!
Great video brings back childhood memories of watching the planes take off and land at JFK and LaGuardia airport. I flew on jet blue out of JFK to Orlando Florida great flight excellent airline no complaints great service!💯🙌😎
I love jetblue
Stefan Taitt same
The A321 sounds amazing!!! but can you hear the other planes departing shake the ground…‼️
I love JetBlue the seats the TVs everything about them is wonderful in my opinion
I love jet blue used it enroute to Orlando Florida very professional crew good flight great experience kudos to Jet Blue would use them over and over again highly recommended keep up the good work!😎
the amazing scenery and the epic buzz makes this one of my favorite takeoffs to watch! love the sharklets!
I wish I can fly a lot like dan
Don't we all?
I wish I could fly at least once a month, and not just little A320/737 class stuff. All I've ever gotten to fly in was regional jets, 727, 737, MD80 and one C-141 while I was in the military during the 1980's.
I think that would kill the magic of flying. It would be nothing special anymore...
yeah... would be awesome to fly like him!
Classic winter takeoff from JFK. Very nice camera work!
Love the plane landing on the parallel runway as your plane is taking off
Love the sound of the engine starts 👍
Not that’s a truly beautiful sound! I love the A321! Liked! :)
Yes the 321 is my favorite. love hearing the engines on take off and 10 minutes later its silent.
Love N942JB and that Mint product!
You can literally watch the wing tip flexing as it gathers lift heading down runway.Pretty cool.
sweet take off!!
Beautiful aircraft!!! Jet blue looks so good with the sharklets.
Love that roaring sound. Havent heard it in a while
Awesome mate
Great video, love JetBlue! Hopefully the add service to Milwaukee that'd be awesome
@Dantorp, in the future could you include the time points of spool up for takeoffs and touchdown/reverse thrust on landings? Many times I'm not really wanting to watch the whole backing/taxiing process.
I Love this plane , Thanks U Dantorp :)
iae engine's are so much fun and enjoyable to listen to. I love them.
One of the fastest and smoothest takeoffs i seen
Awesome video!!
Great engine sound! Wanted to watch this video to see where to choose my seat, I’m flying JetBlue to Orlando from JFK in October and I can’t wait to hear that buzz from the same seat.
Sit in front of the engine and you will enjoy this baby purr like a kitten.
Excellent video mate!
Amazing engine sound!

Great 👍 video. Beautiful sound.
Stunning view on takeoff Dan, love the sharklets also!
Omg you reminded me - this was my first flight on an A321 with sharklets!
You are welcome =)
The engines are also on the MD-90
I would recommend a suction cup mount so the camera doesn't shake on takeoff
Nice!
I love the engines
EPIC F Pitched Motor!!
Beautiful water reflections from 15:40
Me to I like this airline is my favorite
Hi ! Nice video ! I'm wondering when the sound starts being lower at the end, does it mean the plane reach its cruising altitude ? (cause I think the plane might need less power when its position is stabilizing vertically)
Nothing like the sound of hammers 🔨 vibrating against each other.
I did not know than old A 320 can get shrklet too as Neo A 320?
sound and view fantastic for me in this video the taxi's part is too long but good video
hai Daniel, wat a sound, verry cool to here,so and now to California with out snow?lol.greetz:Peerke
Yes - no snow is the way to go ;)
10:40 For Takeoff
IAE V2500 sound is good but i love PW 1100G-JM
I’ve always flew on a320 a321 738-739. I wanna fly on one of the 757 and the bigger planes
Airbuzz!
I'll be flying from LGB to RNO on jetblue next month, then from RNO to OAK on Southwest, and then SFO to LAX on Delta
PointerPride Aviation and Travel im a plane spotter at Reno. I could catch ur flight maybe
AndyAviation sure why not
you can reach me via my email on my channel and we can maybe work something out
Baby Daisy Mario Kart Wii sounds the same but this is an Iae, and she is a lightweight character.
what seat?
What model engine is that?
it took me 18hours to fly home from JFK Airport
Where were you returning from that took 18 hours and are you sure it was an A320 the A320s max range is between 6 hours and 35 minutes to 7 hours and 35 minutes
is this sunrise, or sunset
I’d be panicking like mad at that noise😱

yes there is a change in thrust
A little on the long end but looks very powerful
That's what she said.......
IAE V2500's!!!!!!!
gee only took over 10 minutes to get to the takeoff
I'm just wondering what that buzzing noise is caused from? Why does it sound so aggressive and continue to buzz
I've been in planes where it was smooth from takeoff to landing without the buzzing noise is why I'm asking
@@Mr-DeeRock The buzzing is from the tips of the fan blades spinning faster than the speed of sound
snowing in New York? I went to JFK in December and it wasn't snowing then. why is it snowing in March lol
yeah! we got snow two days ago
10:46
Where's the runway, San Francisco??
It doesn't snow in the Bay Area...........
I have a lot of anxiety and I’m flying in February . I’m so scared am I the only one here ?
10:43 There was a plane was going to land
Takeoff 10:45
I think I had piss my self at 10:45
Why? Flaps 2 TOGA Gear up 11:40 Quack Quack
Sounds lika a mower
why do the engines BUZZ so much, could Someone explain?
Maybe they set a higher thrust than usual for takeoff.
Basically because when they are at maximum thrust or close to, the R.P.M. are so high that they reach the sound speed.
MAX thrust. Air density. No FLEX. TOGA. Cold Day. Quack Quack

Can anyone explain to me why does it sound like that? I´ll appreciate a response.
The tips of the front fan blades break the sound barrier one by one, the repeating sound of the barrier being broken is repeated, causing the distinctive buzz.
Why don't they have 737 800 ?
Anita Ganzalez ha! lol maybe because all models of the over hyped 737 through to the new max are boring ass loud inefficient passenger planes! Should one won't to fly a real sporty efficient plane, one should need onally chose an AIRBUS / Or EMBRAER OR anything other than a BOING!!.😆😅😂😂.

*K a r l V e n e s s* the new Boeing 737 800s are fuel efficient as well.
Why do they need the 738? The A320/1's serve their intended missions just fine with B6.
Lovely aircraft, posted a similar video taking off from Brisbane (BNE) on my channel
first
Pyro Matheus do I give a fuck
Avgeek Productions nope
noisy engine.
Natural phenomenon. Fan tips are going supersonic, so you hear the repeated crack (sonic boom) as a buzz.
Sound on max? Yes, then maybe I'll hear something. Boring sound. Only Tu-154!
DONKEY by name DONKEY by nature
Bird Man What are you talking about?
Quack Quack
MAX thrust. Air density. No FLEX. TOGA. Cold Day. Quack Quack
Bird Man Ok.. enjoy yourself.
